I was fortunate enough to add jazz electric and acoustic guitars to the latest album by Australian singing sensations The Ten Tenors, entitled Our Christmas Wish. The tracks I performed on were Winter Wonderland, Sleigh Ride and The Christmas Song. The rhythm section was amazing, featuring Ralph Salmins and Mark Rose on drums and double bass and some beautiful arrangements from Steven Baker and stunning orchestral performances from the Prague Philharmonic.
The album is currently at number 1 in the Australian ARIA Classical Crossover charts and can be purchased from iTunes here:
I had the great please of contributing three solos to violinist Billy Thompson’s latest gypsy jazz album, The Eberle Sessions. The tracks I played on are Teigr Lily, Scatterbrain and Micro. The album sounds great, featuring some fantastic solos from Billy along with stunning playing from my good friend Andy Mackenzie.
The album is available for download from iTunes:
